1. Analogy practice: Students and teacher will solve Day 3 on Smartboard of analogy Poweroint. Students will complete Day 4 independently in their yellow spiral notebooks. Teacher will give correct answer. Discuss.
2. Teacher will repeatedly read orally dictation sentence #47 to the class while student copy in their yellow spiral notebooks. When students have completed, teacher will write sentence correctly on the Smartboard as students correct.
3. Teacher will collect teacher-made worksheet from Monday on summarizing, paraphrasing, and quoting from students for a grade.
4. Teacher will model writing Part II of the I-Search paper. Organization of Part II will be sequential as each question is addressed. Teacher will model utilizing summarizing, paraphrasing, and quoting, as well as the use of transitional words between sentences and paragraphs.
5. Students who feel they are ready may begin writing a rough draft of Part II of their I-Search paper.
