2. Review 6 nonfiction text structures with students on the Smartboard.
Assign 4 paragraphs for students to read. Students will record text structure for each on small notebook paper pieces and hand in.
3. Mini-lesson on Homophones: to, too, two. Teacher will present Powerpoint lesson to class. Following this, students will complete worksheet assigned in Google Classroom. Worksheet will then be checked as a class and then turned in via Google Classroom.
4. Teacher will assign Quizstar.4teachers.com quiz over to, too, two for students to complete on their own. Students must achieve 90% or better.
5. Students will get into literature circle groups and continue to read text, record main ideas and details, and record new vocabulary words.
