2. Teacher will read from the book Travels with Charley pp. 55-65. Students will respond to the section by answering the question, "Tell about Steinbeck's problem at the US/Canada border."
3. Plat book vocabulary activity. Pass out vocabulary word cards. Students need to organize vocabulary word cards in order of greatest amount of land to the smallest amount of land. Teacher then shares the correct order with students.
4. Students will need to copy down vocab. words, definitions, sentences, and pictures on their unit vocabulary words sheets (need new sheet).
