1. Students will record dictation sentence #10 in their yellow spiral notebooks. Correct as a class on the Smartboard.
2. Students will view the music video: " Nightrider's Lament" performed by Suzy Bogguss. Class will discuss the rural features of the video.
3. Students will need to finish copying down vocab. words, definitions, sentences, and pictures on their unit vocabulary words sheets. (hamlet, village, town, township, county, acre, section, city)
4. Pass out copies of plat maps for the counties of Humboldt, Pocahontas, and Webster. Have students try to locate where they live.
5. Students need to join a classroom discussion using Today's Meet (link) in Google Classroom. They need to sign up and share on Today's Meet which county and township in which they live.
